Lime Thai Chicken

Hey Fitties 🙂 the following recipe shows how to prepare Lime Thai Chicken – a traditional asian dish

Ingredients for 4 portions:
  • ☆  3 spring onions
  • ☆ 3 green and red Chillis
  • ☆ 3 tsp Soysauce
  • ☆ 3 tsp Peanut oil
  • ☆ 1/2 tsp rubbed Ginger
  • ☆ 3 pcs garlic
  • ☆ 2 Limes
  • ☆ 400g Chicken meat
  • ☆ 1 coconut milk
  • ☆ 1 can chickpeas
  • ☆ 1 small can carrots and peas
  • ☆ 1 can rice
  • ☆ 4 tsp yogurt
Preparation:
  1. Cut the onions, chilli and garlic into mall pieces. Add the ginger, soy sauce,peanut oil (just 2 tsps) and the juice of a 1/2 lime and make a paste out of it.
  2. Cook the rice
  3. Slice the chikcen and fry it in a pan with the rest of the peanut oil.
  4. Add the paste you created before and leave it to absorb the flavour for a few minutes.
  5. Next tep is adding the coconut Milk, chickpeas and carrots and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  6. Finally add the Limejuice
  7. Serve every portion with a little yogurt
  8. Enjoy

    For a typical thai meal, don’t forget to add some fish sauce and roasted and smashed peanuts

      haha fish sauce…. Bina hates the smell of that – but i will secretly add it 😛
