Family Time in Koh Samui

Family Time in Koh Samui

Hey ho ๐Ÿ™‚ From Koh Phayam we booked a ticket to Koh Samui, where we’re going to meet Martin’s parents for celebrating his stepfather’s birthday!!

We booked a ticket that should be: Boat – Minivan – Boat and it was: Motorbike – Boat – Bus – Minivan – Bus – Boat – taxi hahaha but we arrived in Koh Samui 1 hour earlier than we planned ๐Ÿ˜€ We surprisingly found the Bungalow of Martin’s parents pretty easy and spent two great days there with them before we moved into our own new home for the next two days :

Lulu Holidays Villa <3

As we arrived there, we could not believe how cool this house was. Private whirlpool with a view over the jungle and the ocean, amazingly decorated rooms, a huge selection of DVDs and books and the best: an infinity pool with a waterslide from the 3rd floor of the house ๐Ÿ˜€

We spent two amazing days here, family came over and we did some water slide contests :D, chilled at the pool and when it started to rain we enjoyed a warm jacuzzi and watching a film ๐Ÿ˜€

From here we moved on to another beach of Koh Samui, where we could see the sunset from our terrace ๐Ÿ˜€

Welcome to Sunset Pavillions ๐Ÿ˜‰

This house is one of the most beautiful ones we’ve seen on our journey so far and we just fell in love with it’s atmosphere and the infinity pool.

We enjoyed making breakfast on our own, loved to have dinner with our family on the terrace and watch the sunset in the infinity pool.

We had an amazing time here and are already thinking of organizing some yoga retreats here because it’s soooooo nice and quiet.

For Wolfi’s 60th birthday (of course he looks a lot younger :D) we went on a one day trip to Koh Tao for diving and snorkelling. We did a lot of research before and ended up going with definitely one of the best organized companies called “The Dive Academy”

We had two amazing dives and a delicious lunch in between and enjoyed the speedboat ride to Koh Tao and back. Our guide Inna pointed out a lot of great stuff and we saw to rays having sex (did you ever see this before?? Looks funny because they are so flat hahaha).

This day was amazing and so we want to offer all of our followes a discount: If you book a daytrip or a course with The Dive Academy in Koh Samui and tell them you come via Travelletics, you get 10% off ๐Ÿ˜‰ Enjoy being an underwater world explorer ๐Ÿ˜‰

We really loved the family time here in Koh samui, the 3 people on one motorbike rides (even if we were too heavy for most of the hills and had to walk) and we want to thank all the people who made our stay in Koh Samui so special <3

  • Of course Jasmin and Wolfi <3 – thx for EVERYTHING
  • Andrea and Seppi – we really enjoyed the time with you and hope to see you again soon ๐Ÿ˜€
  • Angela (not Angelika, we remember now :D) and Peter – hope you have an amazing wedding party ๐Ÿ˜€
  • Chris King and Derrick Edwards for introducing us to their amazing houses <3
  • Claire, Paul, Inna and Sophie for the great dive/snorkeling day ๐Ÿ˜€

All in all: Koh Samui is a lot better than we heard in stories of others and it’s definitely worth a visit ๐Ÿ™‚ Now it’s time to go on to Koh Lipe, time to explore some more of this underwater world ๐Ÿ˜€
