Koh Phayam

Koh Phayam

Sadly our diving trip came to an end, an we jumped on a bus to Ranong, where the ferry should take us to our beloved Koh Phayam, the only spot of Thailand we wanted to visit again on our world travel (we’ve been there 2 years ago and loooooooved it)

But as we found out the last boat leaves the pier at 5pm and we arrived around 5.30 sooooo… we had to stay in Ranong for one night and take an early speedboat next morning. Bernd from the diving trip joined us and as soon as we were nearly dying because we were so hungry, Tamara, our friend from Vienna, arrived just in time for a nice Curry dinner 😀

Next morning the 4 of us made our way to Koh Phayam and as soon as we arrived, we started our visit with the beloved Coconut/Cashew/Banana-Shake (called Hello Phayam).

We found a tractor that took us to our hotel for the first three days – Phayam Cottage Resort– and made ourselves feel like home there 😀

Bernd only had one day here on this Island so we went to the coolest bar ever – Hippie Bar – and were lucky, because with low tide we could easily walk through the sea to get there and save a lot of time walking through the ups and downs of Koh Phayam.

The next two days we spent enjoying the sun, the beautiful water and the amazing food of the bar right next to our hotel.

Bernd we hope you came home safely and still think of this amazing island feeling 😀

For us it was now time to move on to Long Beach – Little Hut was waiting for us <3 We loved this place… especially the location close to the beach and all the amazing restaurants, the friendly people and the chilled atmosphere here!

We spent our days with lots of beachworkouts together with Tamara, enjoying amazing Thai food and great sunsets <3

We got some new bamboo tattoos 😀 and there’s still one of the best tattoo studios here on Koh Phayam called Joy Joy bamboo tattoo. If you wanna get one, ask for Joy Joy and you will find him 🙂

After 3 days here we sady had to leave Koh Phayam, but we’re now heading on to Koh Samui, where we meet Martin’s parents for celebrating Wolfi’s bithday!!! Time to paaaaarteeeeeeeyyy  😀
