Hey Travellers out there 🙂 From Koh Samui we went on to beautiful Koh Lipe. We heard that it should be the Maledives of Thailand and it really did not disappoint us.
The travels from Koh Samui are a bit complicated coz you have to go to Surat Thani by boat, and then there are millions of tour operators that charge you way too much to get to the island. We went with one called Panu Travel and want to tell everybody: DON’T go with them. We had to go to Hat Yai by bus and they told us we will easily find a hotel near the busstation – NOOOOOOT they were all full and we stayed in one of the most disgusting place ever haha. Next morning they told us to pck us up at 8.00, we were waiting with all our luggage and they called in and said: hey we’ll pick you up at 11 :/
Okay after a long day we finally arrived our Ferry to Koh Lipe, that was really nice and made a stopover for an Island Visit of Koh Kai and a Dolphin watching stop haha. In the late afternoon we checked into our beautiful relaxed hotel at Koh Lipe: Family Song Bungalows and were just speechless about the white sand and the beautiful clear water here.
We quickly walked over to our dive school for planning our next days and fell asleep pretty early haha.
Next morning we woke up early and started our way to Satun Dive Resort <3 The only Thai family run dive school on the Island that reaches their divespots with long tail boats. Real Thailand feeling here <3 The Owners were really nice and we had amazing 3 dives around Koh Lipe this day. In the evening they invited us for a fish barbecue at their place and we had lots of fun with all the instructors and guides.
Next day was our dive free one and so we used the time to chill at the beach and watch the sunset from beautiful sunset beach.
Our third day was all about diving again and we had a great day with Satun Dive again. A strong current on our last dive made our experience perfect and so we ended our last day floating through the sea and ascended happy and tired.
